When attending a show, there's no escaping how talented a musician Jesse Jones Jr. is, but once Jesse has an audience in his hands, its quickly exposed to Jesse the dancer, the singer, the comedian, the entertainer who commands a stage completely.

Yes, Jesse is not only a virtuoso on his ever present tenor saxophone, but also on flute, a number of reed instruments, and most all other saxophones.

           He has played with many of his generation's finest jazz musicians (Donald Byrd, Blue Mitchell, Dexter Gordon, Joe Williams, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Eartha Kitt, Clark Terry, Ira Sullivan, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Monty Alexander, and his brother Melton Mustafa), including a 30-year musical relationship with Allan Harris, who he will again join to headline Art Deco Weekend's Music Festival, Saturday night.
