APPEARING NIGHTLY ...
After playing last year's Art Deco Weekend with the Christian Howes Band, vocalist Sarah Jane has been invited back to headline the Antique Experience Stage ... This year with The Blue Notes, her own six-piece band.
Sarah Jane steps from St Louis with her lush, sultry and soulful voice in the tradition of a “red hot mama," along with The Blue Notes to bring you horn infused swingin’ jazz and St Louis Blues from the 1920's to the 50's.
Sarah Jane and The Blue Notes are one of the most festive dance bands in St. Louis, are a favorite among local venues, lindy dancers,
and have played many music festivals in the Midwest.
There's is a sound that seamlessly blends Speakeasy, New Orleans Dixieland, Harlem Night Club, Down South Juke Joint, Big Band Swing, and Old Time Blues.
Sarah Jane has been featured in Billie Holiday revues, torch song revues , The Great Ladies of Jazz Revue, was a featured vocalist at Art Deco Weekend 2013 in Miami Beach, and most recently she and her band played to an audience of 9000 at St. Louis' Whikater Music Festival.
Be sure to wear your dancin' shoes... you're going to need them!
