         On the beach (just off Lummus Park at Ocean Drive & 12th Street will be the Center of Art Deco Weekend 2015' Attention. Featuring Film, Fashion, Music, Dance, and the Best of Art Deco and Mid-Century Design.

         Throughout the Weekend, The Promenade will be enveloped by always swinging, Art Deco period jazz:

• SARAH JANE & THE BLUENOTES  (Straight out of St. Louis)

• THE DECOTONES (Miami's answer to The Manhattan Transfer)

This year, the Miami Design Preservation League has assembled a group of world-class musicians to perform in and around Art Deco Weekend ...

Including the World Premier of "The Bridge," a show produced and played by Living Colour bassist Doug Wimbish and New York City jazz vocalist Allan Harris, as a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. and the thousands of other activists, who 50 years ago fought to secure Civil Rights for all Americans. The show will be BROADCAST LIVE by Art Deco Weekend sponsor WDNA (88.9) Public Radio Miami, Friday, January 16, from a venue yet to be determined. All such scheduling details will be posted when available.
